The way we work is we purchase Qualified leads from another company... we introduce ourselves and mention we work on a non advised basis most of our work is simply getting reductions on their current policies.we match it up a like for like product keep everything the same unless the customer states otherwise its all done over the telephone and are currently clearing 7-10k a week so all we do is simply tell them what the product gives them and work out total savings for customer the whole sale takes only 30 mins ..... all scripts been checked by FSA and each customer has their own files and call recordings etc ........ i simply haven't got the qualifications to give advice and at this point haven't a qualified adviser ...... do u think if i was to show this to a network they might ...... only asking because when i started at the company im at now they weren't even selling life cover and there's no 1 qualified in the office we simply don't give advice and the owner contacted a network and has worked non advised since on a 2 year indemnity? any ideas how he pulled that 1 off?

basically i am mimicking the company im at now as i done all the hard work to get them where they are and reaping little benefits for the work i done so was hoping to find a network to take me on....... we have strict measures in place to ensure no advise is given and every call is listened to by qc agent.... is it true if we are non advised then we not really liable its the customers choice providing we not re brokering WOL and taking them from level to decreasing etc ...... as long as we dont give advice is there much wrong with that?

Which network is your employer with? Can you not mimic that too?

I was going to say the same as rs65, check who your employer is with.

I know my network HATE non advised sales. I did a life policy for someone that works at a life office and you would not believe how much hassle it is. Not all networks will be the same but i think the majority will be. I wont go into the issues why but there are a lot of reasons why they dont like non advised.

Is your employer under a network or directly authorised with the FSA?
If you set up the business, do you not have any contacts within the network you can speak to?

I want to become a insurance broker how??
I am seeking advise on how to go about becoming a life insurance broker. i currently know how to sell life cover compliantly and also how to do applications etc .... i also have everything in place to start a business as in data dialer etc and am registered with company house. The main problem i have is who do i send the business to when its sold? what checks are done to become a appointed representative?

A STEP BY STEP GUIDE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED AS I HAVE FINANCIAL BACKING HAVE WORKED IN THE INDUSTRY SELLING LIFE COVER DOING APPS ALSO HAVE SCRIPTS THAT HAVE BEEN CHECKED BY THE FSA AND STRICT QUALITY CONTROLL IN PLACE PLEASE HELP ......

Reading between the lines here, are you saying you work in a call centre environment selling life insurance of some sort, and you've 'borrowed' the scripts you use in work and have set up some sort of dialling out facility so you can call people up?

OR have you developed your own 'scripts', been in contact with the FSA and got their written approval to use the scripts?

Warful, do you intend to undertake your own written communication to prospective clients also?
