ok thanks..... if i did become a appointed representative using the networks regulations etc would i have to undergo checks by the FSA or would the network simply take care of that as im using their regulation details etc??
  • Do you need to be FSA registered? is your company registered?

i was hoping if i could use a networks FSA details and become an appointed representative if its possible and give up %20 profit to the network........ as far as im aware the company im a manager for isn't FSA regulated but the network they use are so we introduce ourselfs as abc finance which is an appointed representative of the network we use ..... if that makes sense?

My network did some checks on me - to check i was a legal UK citizen and my credit history was fine.
They also asked for a copy of my passport and a utility bill.
I had to complete a financial questionnaire but it was basically about my assets and debts and was on 1 or 2 pages, nothing too strenuous.

Call around a few, the one i joined told me to take a bit of a business plan with me, although they never actually asked to see it thankfully, when i look back at it, it was miles out.

My network also have a requirement that you have passed either CF1, RO1 or Cemap 1 in order to join then, so any relevant qualifications may help.

ok brill i have a business plan but no qualifications sadly..... we work on a non advised basis. would it need to be a director with those qualifications or simply an employee? so when u give out fsa details its the networks not your own? appreciate the help..

I think both, also im not sure many networks would accept you if you do non advised.
My network require me to write chapter and verse as to why it is a non recommended sale. Its actually easier to do an advised sale!
