To celebrate the release of the 1936 sci-fi classic Things to Come on special edition DVD (on May 7), and the film's screening at Sci-Fi London - the UK's leading festival of science fiction and fantasy films (May 2 - May 6) - we have teamed up with Archos to offer one lucky winner a Wi-Fi touch screen multimedia player and a copy of the Things to Come special edition DVD.

For those still getting to grips with the technology of today, the Archos 604 Wi-Fi is a sleek device with integrated wireless capabilities and touch screen for surfing the internet, accessing web mail, watching videos on the go and exchanging and playing files directly from a network.

Though it was shot in 1936, Things to Come, directed by William Cameron Menzies and produced by Alexander Korda, is filled with ingenious gadgets and modern innovations that wouldn't look out of place in 2007. These include mobile phones, a plasma screen, an education channel and biological weapons. Based on a book by HG Wells, this striking film about a devastated population trying to rebuild civilisation following a decades-long war, was banned by Hitler and Mussolini but nevertheless inspired generations of sci-fi films such as Logan's Run, and film-makers such as Stanley Kubrick.

For a chance of winning this shiny, new, hi-tech gadget and a copy of the film, just answer the question below before May 8:

HG Wells wrote which one of these novels?

Answer: The Time Machine

Good Luck :D
