Medicash and other health cashplans?

Hello.
I have just applied to Medicash for their health cashplan policy, based partially on the recommendation of the health cashplan article on this site, where it is the best rated (although the article is woefully out of date).
They refused me, without giving a reason. I called to ask why, as I do not know of any reason why I would not be eligible. They told me to request the reason in writing, which I did, and they replied in writing to say they don't have to give a reason.
Has anyone had a similar experience?? How could I change this?
I also wanted to use them as they do not have any qualifying period, and I don't see any other that does this. Is there another cashplan deal on which one can claim immediately, or is Medicash the only one?
Thank you for all your help,
Raf

Have you previously had a healthcare cash plan of any sort? They're right they can refuse anyone without stating a reason, or even insist on a qualifying period before a claim.

I can only assume that there is something in your history that the underwriters are unhappy with or you have made a mistake(s) in the application or omitted pertinent information.

I don't know the industry well enough to make any recommendations, sorry.

Thank you, but this isn't the case. My credit files are all clear and I have never had any such policy before.

Then you're stuck with their decision. It could be they think you're immediately going to claim, or they don't like your career. They're not saying, neither are they required to. Sorry.
