Buying car from a trader - V5C reported as lost?

Hi All,

Purchasing a car from a trade seller, apparently the car has been on stock for a bit & the V5C has been reported as lost?

The trader still has the V5C Green section.

Its an eBay sale, so cash on collection etc. I'm happy to inspect the car, HPI it etc & the seller to provide me with a receipt for the car.

I feel that a replacement V5C form will need to be ordered, with the £25 cost to the seller in the way that you would apply it, if the car did not come with one?

Is that right?

Regards,

AO
