I hope someone can give me advice please.

I cannot find my incoming gmail. You can probably guess that I am not very tec clever, In fact I am a bit thick. Please help with a simple answer. THANKYOU! very much

Hi
By creating a gmail address, you have also created an account with google. You can sign in to this google account, without actually signing in to your gmail account.
If you google 'gmail', if you are using Chrome as your browser, it will take you straight to the sign-in page for your gmail. If you are using another browser, you will need to click on what will probably be the first result!
Once you sign in to your gmail account, your inbox, or incoming mail, will be on the page in front of you, no need to click anywhere else. Do you know someone who can send you a test message?
Have a look at this Youtube tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGH0ZaBxmwI
Hope this helps!0 -
Thank you Mac2308 I went to the google page you said and it was for signing up for a new email account and i already have that.
Thank you crocswearer that google raw basics site is just what I need to learn about google mail. I got called away this evening so haven't had time to really follow the instructions and now i am to tired. Tomorrow I should get it sorted. I think my firewall might be stopping me getting on the site. Every one is so helpful on this techie site and i really appreciate it.0 -

OP, I suspect that what you are already using is a desktop email program: Outlook Express, Windows Mail or similar? Gmail is webmail (accessed via your web browser), so it won't magically download into your desktop email client-you have to set it up in Gmail and the desktop program to do so, if that's what you want. Otherwise just access it via your browser. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
