Job Seekers Allowance

I recently applied for contribution based job seekers allowance, following redundancy. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to process the claim?

    Up to a couple of weeks normally, depending on how busy they are and there is nothing they want to double check.

    The KMI (target) is 12 working days provided that all of the information is available. It's normally done by the second time you 'sign on'
