fault on washing machine help please?

Hi
Ive got a candy grand o 8kg washing machine. Model no go1482 A few weeks ago it stopped spinning and OH had a look a noticed that 1 of the bushes was worn. So whilst we ordered and waited delivery of the new bushes he swapped the current ones over to tide me over until the new ones would come and get fitted. These were fitted last week and machine was fine for a while but noticed that last couple of times ive used it. When i select programme it will go half way through cycle and then appears to stop and the 90 degress light starts flashing. To get round this i then stop it and select rinse and then spin to try and finish it off. Does anyone know why this could be happening please? also do you know how to reset the washing machine please incase its got out of sync and just needs re setting?
Any helpful advise would be very much apprecaited, Sorry if post is in wrong place.

According to the handbook the light flashes / comes on to indicate how long the wash cycle has left - 90 means it has 60 mins or more left on the cycle.

See page 6 in the manual http://service.candy-domestic.co.uk/manuals/pdfs/GO1682.pdf

  • Thank you for your reply.but It stops mid cycle say after 40 mins and then the 90 min light flashes at the same time as the stain remover button. flashes 3 times and stops and 3 times again and so on.

If its stopping mid cycle then it could well be the heating element is coming on to warm the water up or it could be the programmer has developed a fault.

Either way you really need a service engineer that knows Candy machines.
