Arggggh. O.k this is just a rant so feel free to ignore it. Someone in my house has stolen my mixing bowl
it's a nice big, cheap plastic one. They knew I was going to cook cookies/cakes today (and they normally eat them). Ridiculous. They could have left it on the side or asked me to move it as they needed the space for their fruit bowl, but no it's completely disappeared. It's not in any of the kitchen cupboards so I can only assume they have taken MY mixing bowl to their room. Grrr. I think it will be going back to my room when I find it. Of course there's nobody in right now so nobody to ask where it is. For Petes sake.

So if there is no one in, go and do a search.....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Can you mix in a saucepan instead?
And whomever has borrowed it gets to do the washing up?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Are you in a student houseshare?
If so, somebody's probably thrown up in it I'm afraid.0 -
Who lives in your household?
Other students? Then I agree with above.
Husband/partner? Been used to put screws/nails in -try the shed!
Primary school age children? Been used as a mould for a snow igloo for their collection of moshi monsters. Try the garden.
Teenagers? Who knows??!!0 -

Come back to tell us where it went to OP.

Aaah... The joys of a house share.
To the other posters... I'm sure OP realises this not the end of the world and this very minor in the grand scheme of things. But it is so frustrating when people are so inconsiderate. But house shares are like this. It sounds like the straw that broke the camels back.
OP - you have my sympathy.Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -
