Landlord keeps stonewalling over deposit

I am hopeful that he would pay up. A CCJ for a landlord would be pretty serious as it would mess up his ability to mortgage and remortgage!If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...0

The Court staff will be able to give you leaflets on enforcing a judgement in the County Court and if you are confident and know where he stashes his cash then you can do it yourself. The court staff cannot advise which course of action to take, but they can tell you the procedure for each one and any obvious pointers ie if he isn't working then trying to apply for an Attachment of Earnings Order wouldn't work.
If he wasn't present at the hearing he may apply to set aside the judgement. How much of a weasel is he?
