Never be scared to post on these (or any) forums. I do understand what you mean, it can seem that some people are quick to jump down your throat but, hey, ho! That's their problem, not yours.

Re the toilet rolls, sounds like good value but I don't think I know Farmfoods, is that a shop or a brand?

We always just buy the ones on offer unless we are feeling flush (ha, ha) and shopping at Costco where they always seem to be a good deal.

    Hello & welcome cdnkt6,
I've been on this site a couple of years now and have picked up some fab tips and advice, there are some lovely people here.
Re loo roll, I've never thought of looking in £stretcher for it, although we're coming to the end of a supply so I might investigate. We've previously used the Nicky ones from Home bargains & also Farmfoods, I thought they were good enough but we all tended to use more, so have reverted to usual asda ones or sometimes Costco ones.

    Regards

    trigger :-)

We really like the Nicky loo roll from Farmfoods as well - it's the best value we've found, we seem to use less than the usual stuff from big supermarkets, and it feels very luxurious.

I get Triple Softy from B&M Bargains at £1.99 for 9 roll packs. Excellent quality 3-ply paper. Very good value if you have a B&M near enough. Thanks for posting cdnkt6 and welcome!
