Changing name and address on driving licence

I need to change my name on my driving licence (got married in May last year, only sorting it now lol), and my address too.
I know I can use my passport details as proof of identity, but my passport is also still in my maiden name, so where I enter my passport number on the driving licence form, do I sign in my maiden name or in my married name?
Or can I not use the passport as it doesn't match my new name?

Can you change your passport; then when that returns change your driving licence? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

You could submit your birth certificate and marriage certificate together? If you lend someone £20 and never see them again, it was probably £20 well spent...0

I did this recently as I changed my name, also due to marriage.
My passport is still in my maiden name and will continue to be until it runs out in 2 years time. I don't have a passport with the electronic chip due to the age of the passport.
I submitted my passport and marriage certificate and they sent me back my new driving license within 10 days.I am a Mortgage Adviser

You can only use your passport if it is in the name you want your driving licence to be in, i.e. if your passport is in your new married name, then you can use it, but if it is not, then you can't.0

There is no legal requirement to change your passport to your new name. As far as I know it does not have to be the same name as your driving licence (am googling this to confirm). The only requirement is that the name you book flights etc in matches the name on your passport.
*edited to add*
There is a legal requirement to inform the DVLA of a name change:
"You must tell DVLA if you: * change your name or address" https://www.gov.uk/legal-obligations-drivers-riders
*edited again to add*
It is just advised that you change the name on your passport:
Change of name in a passport
We would advise that once you change your name, change your passport too. Passport, travel bookings and tickets must always be in the same name. You may be denied entry into a country or refused passage by an airline if this is not so.

Thanks everyone. My passport still has 3 years to run, so not planning on changing my name on that until it expires. Will send off passport and wedding certificate and see what happens - DVLA guidelines aren't very clear!0

Like I say, that's exactly what I did. Worked fine, no issues whatsoever. I did it in November as my insurance was up for renewal and I had put the renewal in my married name so it's my very recent experience.
Not changing my passport for the sake of 2 years and £75.
I sent it recorded delivery so it arrived the following business day before 1pm and I was able to track it.
The license came back first and then the supporting documents the following day.I am a Mortgage Adviser

I changed my name on my driving license and I definitely had not changed it on my passport as my passport is still in my maiden name now and I wont be renewing it yet as its still got 14 months left now and this was over a year ago.
I dont remember posting my passport off though? I think I just sent a copy of my marriage certificate? Isnt that why you write your passport number down so they just check it through that?0
