I know there is a sticky at the top of the page for CWP's, but my question is quite specific.
We qualified for a CWP just over two weeks ago.
Around the same time I was on IS, but we (as a couple) was swapped to ESA Support Group (income Related)
so we still (as a couple) recioeve an "income" benefit (ESA IR)
We havent yet recieved a letter to say we have qualifed for the CWP - last year they sent a letter for each of the three qualifying weeks.
Just wondered if I should be contacting them? If so, who do I contact..?

Ity hasn't gone in to the account that the ESA goes into.
Income Support used to go into a different account with Carers allowance and it hasn't gone in their either.
DLA and ESA go into one account. CA goes into another account as the CA money covers ther monthly direct debits.0 -
It can take up to 14 working days for payments to be made. That's nearer 3 weeks than 2.
Are you still inside the 14 working days ?0 -
I cant remember the actual date we qualified here, but I know people in the same town have had letters and/or money already.0

According to the web page you need to contact your JSA office if you have not received your payment.
Here is a link to the Cold Weather Payment page.
Put in your postcode and on the second page there is a link for your local office.

Its an 0845 number to contact the local JCP.0 -
Can't think of the right expression but some sort of scan probably happened in the changeover and it appeared no qualifying benefit was in payment.0
