Replacing shower curtain hooks on track rail

Hi all,
I've looked around the internet and haven't been able to find anything so thought I'd pop on here as I've generally had helpful advice to queries.
We have a curved track rail for the shower curtain in our bathroom, however lots of the slider hooks have snapped and are useless. Is there a way to replace the hooks? I gave the rail a tentative shove to see if it would come away to take the old hooks off and add new ones but it didn't seem to budge and I didn't want to break it.
Any advice on changing the hooks would be great!
TIA
Caroline

Thanks for your help, however the rail is attached to the ceiling by 3 plastic rods which prevent circular hooks from sliding the curtail along the rail. Hence I need to know how to replace rail gliders such as these as I can't seem to find any advice by googling. Maybe I'm googling the wrong thing or maybe it's impossible!
**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

Hi,
well the reviews say they are easy to fit.
Have a look here, scroll down to Curtain Track Kit, about 3/4 down, might give you an idea how to get into your rail.0 -
That's really helpful, thanks. I might have to get one of my (much taller) housemates to have a look and see about the screws on top as I can't see over the top despite balancing precariously on the edge of the bath!

Hi,carolinosourus wrote: »balancing precariously on the edge of the bath!
now there's a scenario, you slip, you grab the shower curtain, you land in the bath shower rail on top of you, :rotfl:, least you'll be able to get the new sliders on. :rotfl:

I have a curved rail with the same hooks in the link you posted. My rail has metal piles in the ceiling. I have to turn the supporting poles 45 degrees to release the rail that tbe end of the pole slots in to. These type of rails with ceiling supports are used for hospitals and disabled wet rooms and showers if you want to google for the type of rail you have.0
