Having saved up my birthday money from last year and combining it with my xmas money as well from last year, with the intention of buying a Kindle fire HD in the end I plumped for a Nexus 7-and what a great bit of kit:T
Unfortunately I have a problem with it:mad: My 16 year old daughter keeps taking it and when I managed to take it to work for my tea break she phoned me up saying she could not find it anywhere-On explaining it was mine and I had taken it to work and explained I was just gonna use it in me tea break she called me an idiot:rotfl:and has not spoken to me since . Is this a general theme with nexus 7's and teenage daughters?:(

A serious, common problem -
You could try upgrading your daughter's firmware, this is not to be taken lightly and may result in erratic behaviour.
(Version 16 of Daughter is known to cause general stability and perspective issues - version 21+ gets much more stable, returning almost to the stability of v 6-8)0 -
Have you tried doing a System Restore on her?No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Simple!
Next time you get your hands on the Nexus
Swipe down the right hand side and go to:
"Settings"
then "security"
then "Screen Lock"
select "Face Unlock" ^_~
run through the setup
set up a secondary unlock (pattern or pin code)
and hey presto
no more annoying problems with the daughter stealing it ^_~ lolLaters

A bit of advice from an old hand - don't worry time will start to solve these problems.
In my own experience with children the first forty years are the worst.0 -
install this App secretly (crack your screen) and see how she reacts!

Or get her - her own Nexus.0

Yes that's quite good0 -
No it's not - its an obvious joke (I have it) because when you shake the device again it shows the apps screen showing it to be a joke.
Tell her to leave it alone and stop her using it.
Or buy her - her own.
I'll let you figure out which option does not cost £150+0
