windown8 adobe flash

Have windows 8 but having problems with Adobe flash download. It works when I go through `desktop`screen but not when I go through the `tiles` screen. Says I need to download it but am having trouble doing so.
Any help would be appreciated. TIA

    IE, as used through the tiles screen is a very basic, broken down browser. It allows no plugin whatsoever which means things like Adobe Flash are out of the question. For things like that, you'll always need to use the full IE 10 variant as found on your desktop.
