Anyone had trouble with avg free 2013?

Hi,

I have had avg free 2013 on my computer dual boot for a few months but finally have had to uninstall it as the updates on 2 separate ocassions were locking up my computer at the 70% mark.

Happened both on windows 7 and windows 8.

Anyone else with similar problems.

I have now installed avast free on both partitions.

Nope I haven't had those problems.

I had massive problems trying to update from 2012 to 2013. The update took so long I simply had to cancel it because it'd had two hours and I needed to go to work. Second and third attempt wouldn't work and by then it was telling me there was an error. By then 2012 and 2013 were both appearing on the programmes list so I tried to uninstall both and start over. Yet another error.

Ended up having to resort to Revo Uninstaller and haven't bothered to go back to AVG after all that hassle. MSE runs much quicker on mine anyway.
