Help please.
I have just bought a new Samsung Smart TV.
My old Toshiba CRT had two speakers connected via two wires into the TV for each speaker.
Could someone please advise me whether I connect my old CRT speakers to my new Samsung Smart TV ? especially as there is nothing on the back of the TV that seems compatible with the wired connections.
Thanks.

By the sounds of it probably not as it stands, I'm guessing your old TV had proper speaker outputs on it (and a suitable amp inside the actual set to run the speakers), and a pair of matched speakers.
I take it you mean the speaker wires were just bare ends that pushed into a connection on the TV?
Unless your new TV also has a proper speaker output (most don't), you'll need an amp for the speakers (connect the TV's audio out to the amp, and the speakers to the amp).
In short, I don't think you'd be able to connect them up at the moment, and you'd probably be better looking at a "sound bar" or surround sound type speaker setup that can be connected to the normal TV outputs (most TV's have "line level" outputs either as discrete connections, or as part of the Scart sockets, if not a digital/optical output for surround sound).0
