Disney and Universal Tickets

Hi Everyone

We are off to Florida in May this year and are trying to find a good deal on park tickets ,I have seen the 14 unlimited tickets but they seem so expensive as we do not want to spend 14 days in the parks, for 2 adults and 1 child cheapest ive seen is over £1000

I wondered if anyone could give me a sanity check and advice on where to get tickets

We would like to do 3 days at Disney ( Magic kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios) Universal Studios and Islands of adventure ( 1 day in each)

We did want to do seaworld but this is not included in the Disney and Universal Combo ticket and would cost around another £270 ish on top so doubt we can do this as well.

We have also looked at Legoland florida as an Alternative to seaworld as the Merlin Annual passes are currently on offer at £70 per person not only will we be able to enjoy them here all year you get £60% off at legoland florida if you show them at the gate.

Sorry for the long post , Im just trying to get my head around the tickets and its so confusing

If anyone can offer any help or advice w would be very grateful

Thanks :money::money:

    If you are SURE you only want 3 days in Disney, then I think you might be better off just getting a 3-day "Magic Your Way" ticket, which would be $257.73 (about £163) per adult and $240.69 (about £152) for a child. This gives you 3 days within a 14 day period but you can only visit 1 park on each day (which most people do anyway).

    I would suggest maybe getting a 4-day ticket for about $15 extra each as you may well decide that you want another day in one of the parks (Epcot is huge).

    All Disney prices here http://www.mousesavers.com/regular-walt-disney-world-ticket-prices/#baseticket

    Universal ticket prices are here http://www.mousesavers.com/discounts-and-deals-at-other-theme-parks-and-attractions/universal-orlando-discounts-and-deals/

    They should cost about $436 for both adults and one child.

    So, doing quick sums, £478 for Disney and £276 for Universal, total £754 (approx).

    The 14-day unlimited passes are really only good value if you intend going to the parks at least every other day.

    If you want to purchase any tickets in advance in the UK I would recommend http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/

    For more advice, you would be best looking at the Orlando thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1820085 or on the forums on The Dibb website.
