To answer the OP..
1. Yes, you can cycle payments through this account, no problem. I've been doing it successfully for a few months, transferring most of what goes into the account back out the same day.
2. Yes, it's fine to "transfer over" 2 direct debits, as opposed to creating new ones - it's the same thing, because to transfer them over, you are effectively creating a new DD agreement and cancelling the old one. I'm not aware of any requirement for Standing Orders - I certainly don't have this. But like others on this thread, I did transfer over quite a few DDs to get maximum advantage from the cashback.
3. Again, I'm not aware of the requirement for Standing Orders at all. If you mean 2 DDs to the same recipient, not sure about this but can't see why it would be a problem.0
