Printing Digital Photos

hey,

Does anyone know of anywhere that does cheap digital Photograph Printing
(Kodak), bearing in mind i live in Northern Ireland.

Cheapest i've found so far is Boots @ 10p per 6" x 4" and 15p per 7" x 5",
although you have to print a minimum of 50 Photos to get this deal. Still works
out cheaper than conventional camera, plus added bonus of enhancing
photos before you print with photoshop (removing Red eye etc.) so you only get the photos you want with 100% quality.

Have had some dissapointments at Tesco before (can't remember the prices), with them losing photos etc etc.

many thanks

Always use Costco (not sure there is one near you) as they are cheap, and have them ready for you by the time you've finished shopping. :)

Also.... They are great for 35mm spools too ... They'll process a 36 off 35mm film and put it onto CD for less than £2 ;) Saves a fortune paying to process spools with only 6 or 7 "good" pics on them.... or less if yer granny took the pics :p

Not sure, but I think that that's the cheapest you'll find, in a high-street shop at least. The lowest prices I've read about are in Asda, where apparently you can get a 6"x4" print for as little as 15p.

Have you considered online print services?

I would highly recommend Photobox as TangleFoot mentioned (https://www.photobox.co.uk) at the moment they have a promotion on where all 7x5 photos are just 10p each just use this promotion code "SALE7X5" you'll also get 10 free 6x4 credits when you sign up and free online photo storage space.

Finally they got 5 stars overall rating from Digital Photo magazine.

I've literally just returned from my holidays witha snap-happy wife (had the wife before I went!)

Popped in to snappy-snaps in Derry in Northern Ireland and paid £38.50 for 385 6x4 matt finish photos that are superb quality (even compared to home prints on a cracking HP Photo printer)

They are doing an offer (probably long term thing by the looks of it) 10p per print on anything over 50, Jessops have been doing a similar offer but only for multiples of 50. I am happier with the snappy-snaps pictures than the Jessops ones (same camera, processed on same digital mini-lab) although it might be down to the fact that the snappy snaps machine is newer.

I found their service to be a lot better in store than Jessops, and they are happy to walk you through the process of getting your prints ordered.

Anyway I can recommend either but Snappy snaps gets my choice every time now.

    YMMV

lloydspharmacy are doing 100 prints for a tenner but dont know if you have one there.
  • I have a Canon IXUS camera and am looking for a spare battery for occasional back up. On Amazon they cost £34 new but there are used ones for £7 - £13. If I buy a used one will it be as reliable as a new one.
Sorry, couldn't find the battery thread.
