Gosh thats good value! Unfortunately no farmfoods near to me. I can't believe how pricey they are now. I try and get mine from lidls if they are on offer. I have grown my own before, think i will have to start again lol!!
  • Well I grow my own and haven't brought any in over a year, last year was my best crop ever . None of them had any holes in them , I even have some still to dig up .

I'm on my own so don't use a lot and found they were going off so have started buying the tins of baby potatoes at Tesco for 16p

    Drained weight 345g
So does that work out about 50p a kilo

  • Lidls XXL sack at £3.75. They have been fine for roasting and making mash potatoe.

    Much better value than Tesco.

The one I buy are probably not the cheapest (don't even remember the price) but I like the quality - good for frying and boiling. Sold in TESCO, from Cyprus, they have red clay all over it. And it's like new potatoes - you don't peel, but scrap it. he only trick - don't buy a lot, otherwise the skin hardens.
