An End to Stoozing??

Typical! I've just set up my Virgin card and requested a SBT, when , on the news last night, I heard credit card companies are going to stop the 0% offers 'cos they're losing money through card tarts!!! Anyone know anything more about this?
Sorry if this is covered already - it's my first post.

    The end of 0% cards???
    £1 Billion

P.S. Guardian: 0% card transfer deals may face extinction
I think that their information that '...that in 2003, none of the cards offering 0% APR interest on balance transfers applied charges for transferring balances compared to around 11% that do today...' is already out-dated ...

This all came from a press release by capital one that had an 'independent' professor doing research to say 0% are over, BT fees are coming in, everyone wants a 'flat rate' card - which incidentally is exactly what capital one is promoting - big surprise.

My view is we will see less and less long term 0%s without BT fees, but the 0% itself isn't over and in the short term even with a 2% fee its going to be the cheapest way to borrow. It just means continued vigilence (as if moneysavers weren't always) when choosing cards

Martin , sorry to hear about the RSI. I have posted a message regarding Access to Work under the Grab it Quick thread about 3 day Vauxhall freebie. Don't know how else to let you know about Access to Work.
