Might be late signing in for March's challenge but keep my usual chair for me please, don't let Igor try to renovate the upholstery, I like it just as it is, and I've gone off horsehair cushions a la mode d'Igor.......

Laters, folks, the washing machine is a-calling...

I wouldn't worry about Igor using the horsehair for the cushion Nargle...Igor has been watching the news and is now planning a variation on F!indus crispy pancakes :rotfl::eek:

Anyway, as I have already forked out for dental treatment today, I decide to treat myself to a Kindle book - Austerity Housekeeping (price £2.99) -ironic, hey?

I love a nice bit of irony - book sounds really interesting - might have a squizz myself.

Well NSD #11 today :j nearly at target and some fab numbers already rolling in so well done everyone :T

Not a NSD tomorrow, need eyebrows done and bread (not inter-related :rotfl:) but have to be careful, I have my 'want to spend' head on so mustn't think 'oh it's a spendy day so I'll also get....'.

Have decided I might draw some pennies out on pay day and treat myself to some new makeup bits next month - I'm still on the hunt for some new foundation (two more samples today, so that's enough samples for 40-days so far :rotfl:) but a few other bits are also looking a bit tired...I have an eyeshadow that I use, but is prob about 12yrs old  perhaps need to get rid of anything I no longer use (or has a funny whiff :o) and replace with some new bits.

Wow, just realised the car boot season starts at the end of next month, where does time go?

Slap on wrist for you, kerri - you should not be keeping warpaint for years! That old eyeshadow could harbour all sorts of bugs and give you an eye infection. Suggest on your next planned spendy day you treat yourself to a brand new clean makeup bag with little sizes of everything you need, then you will use it all up before it goes off. In fact, the makeup counters at posh stores might give you enough freebie samples to stock your bag?

(no, Igor, you are not to touch my chair in Ennessdee Towers when I am away. I am more than happy with the faded purple velvet cushion. It does not need recovering with the skin of some un-named life form.)

Consider my wrist slapped Nargle - and when OH questions the bill from B00ts I shall point him in your direction ;) Yes, I know you're right - I need to make a little list of what I 'need' and go out and treat myself.
Thankfully I have enough mascara from certain b0nus time promos to keep a troop of Las Vegas drag queens glammed up for at least a year :rotfl:

  • Sorry guys, should have been my turn to update tonight, but after getting lost on bus on way home from work, having to make birthday cake for new boss (remind me not to keep blimming volunteering for stuff!!), refereeing mum & dad & dealing with sobbing heartbroken new lodger (regretting it already!) i am just too shattered.... (& if you want to know how shattered i have abandoned all thoughts of tea in favour of bed!)

I do hope you will forgive me (especially you Freeby!)? But well done for some impressive NSD totals!!

  • BDNI - I think you deserve the rest and we'll manage without a full update for one day :)

As expected, no NSD for me today - didn't spend much but still breaks the NSD......

So, hoping to be back on track tomorrow and declare no 8. Actually hoping for 3 in a row but shhh, don't tell anyone :rotfl::rotfl:
