Evening everyone
As predicted, today was a spend day and not a small one either  .
This morning I ran out of foundation  so off to Boots. Out for the rescheduled coffee at lunch time, followed by buying lunch out because I have been disorganised this week  then I dropped my glasses and the nosepad fell off so they needed repairing  . On top of that I have been grocery shopping. After all that, I am determined today is my last spend day of the month but realistically I will probably need fresh veg, fruit and bread next week but that's all I am buying.
Has anyone else noticed the cost of fish has gone up since the horse meat scandal? and it was expensive before.
I forgot to say that I have reached day 50 of not smoking!! :-)
Thanks to Marmite & Freeby for updating.
Take care.

Ok where's that soggy paintbrush!!!
We never f-a-i-l here.We just don't quite make our target.:)

Please put me down for NSD#9!! I'm so pleased and pretty confident I will get to my target by the end of the month.
I was talking to a friend today who has joined a money mgt course with her church. It made me realise how far I am on the 'money mgt' journey!! All the stuff she was talking about, I do automatically. I think we should all be dead proud of ourselves that we are even money savvy enough to have signed up to this thread, let alone actually have NSD's!!. There are still people who don't/aren't...
I sometimes forget that probably most other people don't live by 'our rules'-nsds etc. You're right,we should be proud!freebyfifty wrote: »Good Morning

So sorry i didn't post yesterday to tell you all that the new job is fab!!!!! I absolutely love it, the people are amazing, the job is great, so laid back & friendly in comparison to what i am used to & the only problem i can foresee is that being allowed to wear whatever i want means it takes me ages to get dressed now as i can't choose!! :rotfl: If only all the problems in my life were that enjoyable!!
Anyway, the reason i never made it on last night is the fact that i am getting a lodger tomorrow, my friend who has been leaving her partner for ages (Domestic violence), has finally decided to do it, so when i got home from work i had to relocate all the jink from the spare room, & believe me there was lots of it  I'm so glad that she is doing it, but what i week to pick!! However, i've had a little cry of the loss of my privacy for a bit & now it's onwards & upwards!!Nargleblast wrote: »Bdini - Sorry.
Why can't some people just grow up and behave in a civilised manner at times like this? Please do not play their silly games - do not allow yourself to be their go-between, just deal with the main people involved if you have to, but don't allow any discussion about other people - just say, if they try and drag you in, something like "Look, I'm not interested, it is totally inappropriate for family members to be b1tching about each other at a time like this - just keep me out of it."
If you can be the grown-up in all this (remember Eric Berne's book?) you would make your nan very proud of you.
Thanks Nargle, i wish i could, but as my uncle disappeared years ago & none of his kids speak to us any more the problem is with my mum & brother, both of whom i'd love to avoid but can't!!! I am now the master of deep breaths though, as i am determined i won't rise to it.... although i think i need shares in a major tissue company for all the secret crying i have done this week!!Oops no more dodgey hugs for me:rotfl: Sorry Bdini, hope you weren't offended and your first day was positive.
No offence taken Sazzie, as there is only a dodgy hug available i've got quite used to it.... & i reckon a dodgy hug is definitely better than no hug at all!!Candlewick wrote: »I forgot to say that I have reached day 50 of not smoking
Well done that's an amazing achievement!!
Just want to say thank you to each & every one of you for your kind words & hugs, we really are the most amazing bunch of people on here & i am lucky to have you in my life!! xxxFebruary NSD challenge 5/150 -
