This offers 500 minutes for 3 months to any o2 customer of your choice.
Text 'ONE' followed by the designated o2 phone number to 21300.

500 free minutes to UK landlines and o2 mobiles
top-up £10 or more in the month and text your chosen postcode to 22204
free to start receiving your free allowance.

To find your remaining monthly balence (non offer)
Text 'BALENCE' to 20202 to find out how many free texts you have left,
along with how much internet browsing time u have left.

o2 Treats
Phone 2211 to pick your o2 treat. Ring for details
(Offer includes free texts, free minutes and more).

o2 Rewards
Text REWARD to 50202 to recieve 10% of all top ups made within 3 months.
(If you want to find how much you're earning back, text text 'BALANCE' to
50202.

What is 02 Genie card? I've never heard of it. I use 02 PAYG and already get the treats and rewards but would I be able to get the first 2 offers you mention as well?

Number 1 offer
This offers 500 minutes for 3 months to any o2 customer of your choice.
Text 'ONE' followed by the designated o2 phone number to 21300.

This a three month only offer, and replaces the long weekends offer. If you are currently running long weekends you will have to wait for it to run out first, you cannot cancel it.

500 free minutes to UK landlines and o2 mobiles
top-up £10 or more in the month and text your chosen postcode to 22204
free to start receiving your free allowance.

This is a new tariff. If you currently top up £10 + and get the free text allowance, or the free calls allowance then changing to this will completely cancel out the free texts and calls, so top up £10 a month and you will only get the free calls to o2 customers and landlines, NOT the texts and calls as well. I am on this new tariff, and it seems to go by the first part of your postcode, so there is some scope here. Also, you must listen when you make a call that is supposed to be free for a voice on the line after you dial saying Free Call. If you don't hear this announcement then hang up and redial, I have had to do this a few times, if you don't you will be charged for the call.

The others will all run alongside anything else you have on your genie card.

Yes you will, but check my first post, if the texts are more useful to you then I wouldn't change tariffs, and if you are running long weekends then you will have to wait for it to run out. If you're not sure whether you're running long weekends then send the text anyway to register with number one, if you're not eligible it will send you a text to tell you this.

iv signed up for all theses offers lol. the only bill i pay for is calls on other networks during the day on weekdays all my texts are still free

I am confused now, can I top up £10 and use the new "One" promo but not the postcode one?

bear in mind 'o2 treats' are only available to people who have been with o2 for longer than 6 months.

if you haven't been with o2 for 6 months yet, phone 2211 and press 1 then 1 again, and they'll send you a text when you become eligible for treats.

I switched from receiving my 300 free texts per month to the 500 free minutes per month from my home postcode.

I don't think this was a good idea as I do tend to text more often.

Does anyone know how to switch back?

If you dial customer services or even better 4444 and listen to the options i think you may have to wait a month then you can change back a friend did the same if you get a text 48hrs after you sign up you can change back straight away if not its a month im afraid.I know someone else who signed up for the one that doesnt take away your free texts you need to top up £10 a month for that

Text NOPLACE to 22204 then set up then you should get a message telling you it will go back to your original tarriff in 48 hours but actually only about 12. Then use the "One" offer for the phone number you ring most.

Free minutes would be more useful than free texts so I texted my postcode and they text me back to say it will be set up in 48hrs.

I would never have known about it if it wasn't for katty's post - 02 don't seem to be shouting it from the rooftops;)
