Virgin Vs BT & TalkTalk...

Hi all - feeling quite proud of keeping my new year resolution so far not to use CCs or overdraft and decided to reduce my phone/broadband/TV bill. Currently with Virgin - basic package - £32 per month and no hassle whatsoever
BT offer works out at £23.22 p/m over 18-month contract (paying upfront line rental) + £49 for Freeview box
TalkTalk works out £26.82 p/m over same period and paying upfront + free Freeview box (but phone includes free 0845/0870 numbers so prob cheaper overall)
But.....much as I want to save money, I can't see any complaints about Virgin on this forum - lots of complaints about BT and TalkTalk.
Any advice on whether we only complain and no-one says good things about BT and TalkTalk or if they're really that bad?
Thanks!

Talktalk line rental paid upfront: £114/year, phone and broadband £6/month (before the half-price offer), freeview box £18 from Argos. Spread over 12months = £17/month.

Do you really need the extras?

I've never had any problems with them in the last few years.

I should say, there are cheaper options that the TalkTalk one I mentioned, but they probably require a little more effort (ie getting phone and internet from different people).

Thanks for the feedback! Phone and internet from different people - hadn't really considered that.... I fancied the Youview box which is £299 from their website and free with the TalkTalk deal. I shal ponder - thanks again!
