Mega Drive II - Help!

Options
Hiya there,

Looking for some help really! My Mega Drive II isn't working anymore but I can't work out why. My fianc!e moved it on to this bigger table today and now it isn't working anymore. The power light comes on as normal and the TV I'm using - Panasonic Colour TV - Model TX14B4T also works. She said she only moved the cables and I have put them all back in. I've tuned it into AV on my TV where it was working before but to no avail. Any ideas what might be going wrong?

I know it's a long shot but thanks for all your help in advance! :)

Is this connected with SCART, red white and yellow cables, or an RF modulator (that goes into the aerial socket)? Sounds like one of the first two if it's AV but AV could also be channel 0. Nostalgic!

I don't think the MegaDrive ever had a SCART socket, it's too old for that! It's either going to be composite video (ie. 3 round phono connectors coloured yellow, red and white) or it's going to be a single RF connector the same as your TV aerial.

Which is it, and where are they plugged into on your TV?

Also, thank you for making me feel old. Even though I was always a Nintendo fangirl in those days, this thing is from the era when Sonic the Hedgehog games were actually good!
