I have a real puzzler on my Toscos womble. Teabags for £6.29, they are so expensive I went searching but cant find anything that price in Toscos???
Edit, I have found some over £7 but none at this price.

Are you sure you are not mis-reading £5.29?

Another one I'm doubting over - Sada Straight Cut Oven Chips 1kg - buying in twos vs M. Reason is M is 900g, any 2 for £1.50.

900g is 10% lower than 1kg, so it is at the 10% weight difference limit for comparison. However, 1kg is more than 10% difference from 900g. Does anyone know how this is worked out? (I suspect not: this is one complex question for me to ask Sada.) 10% of 900 is 90. Meaning 10% upper limit from M's product is 990g. A's is too weighty. Does it go from the competitor's product to A's or from A's to the competitor's? Or from the lower weight, regardless of which store, or from the higher weight? Good question to flummox (or possibly not) the Elite tonight.

I have my edging of doubt and have been wrestling with it over whether to include the item on my M list or not, and because of the doubt, I left it off on Wednesday.

Tesco Ken Hom range - 2 sides and 2 main meals for £5 (usually around £3 - £3.50 per dish)

will defo be stocking up here too :j:j

Oddly enough I went to get some of this today and it is normal price in my Tesco. I checked on line and offer still showing. Maybe they got it wrong so someone got DTD so they remove the signs. I will check other branch near me tommorow.
Went to cinema with OH and DD this evening. We saw Les Miserables. OMG what a waste of 2 and a half hours. My head hurt by the end. Might be good for a stage show but not for a film. Cinema was deadly quiet all the way through except when Anne Hathway sang "I dreamed a dream" and some chap though it would be good to rustle his popcorn the whole way through it. My DD told him to shhh. That was srtill when we were enjoying the film though.

Seen the comparison with loose bananas A vs M. Beware - M is 79p/kg, which is more than 10% more expensive than A's 68p/kg!

You can get loose bananas on an Avs Sains. comparison as a filler as although A are cheaper at 68p/kg, Sains are fairtrade so non comparable. (At least as long as A are still cheapest at 68p/kg and no-one the A Bananas compare to reduces their prices.) Or at Tvs A's 68p/kg. Seen a comparison on here showing Bananas T vs A. I also noticed that the T bananas (non fairtrade) were compared by T to both A (non fairtrade) and S (fairtrade). Just commented to one of my family tonight that I like this sort of complex thing!

Summary: Loose Bananas: A vs S (fairtrade, N/A), A vs W (N/A according to one of my APG results tonight), T vs A, Lidl (or Aldi 1kg pack is same price), but *not* T vs S, as not only is T (and S) more expensive on their bananas but T compares its own to S (as well as A). If they were to be 68p/kg in T therefore (they aren't, they're 79p/kg), you wouldn't use them as a filler (T cheaper) on a T vs S shop.

[Edit: all very complex, but clear. It's that time of night folks..]
