I had it for tea and wasnt that impressed to be honest. Won't be getting any more.

We've just bought two of them to try today. They don't look a patch on the Sainsburys ones, but I'll keep an open mind until we try them.

If you haven't tried Sainsbury's own Chinese tho I would definitely recommend them.

My kids had the sweet and sour chicken with rice and liked it. I had the thai green and did not like, but i might try the chicken curry.
    What did you have COT?

I had the sweet/sour chicken and loved it with the egg fried rice, hubby liked his chicken curry as well, but if you're listening Ken, it wasn't a patch on the one that I make him:T

Where did you get the Kitchen, did you get a good deal?;)

    I'm looking at replacing ours!:D

I got a great deal from B&Q but I'm not sure you could get the same deal anymore :(

First we went to Homebase on a 60% off weekend. They wanted £4k for the design we wanted :eek::eek: They printed off a very pretty artist impression of what the kitchen would look like ....... which we took into B&Q where they sold us pretty much the same kitchen for just £1300 :D

But you have to bear in mind we purchased on a weekend that B&Q had 15% off all prices (including sale) and the kitchens were on sale at 25% off to begin with (so we got 15% off 75% of the original price which meant we actually saved 36%)

It came to just £1300 in the end so even without the reductions B&Q were much, much cheaper than Homebase

I paid using 40x£25 giftcards bought from Mr T. (that got me £30 of clubcard points too:money:)

The SA wasn't very impressed, but at least they all scanned and I did pay some of it in cash :rotfl:
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

    What did you have COT?

    Chicken chow mein
    Duck with pancakes
    Vegetable spring rolls
    Egg fried rice.

Not the full selection in my local tho.
Would rather pay more and get it from the chinese

Not many of us on here - just noticed I'd got two in a row (nearly three!:rotfl:)
Not having trouble sleeping but just popped back as I've realised I've got things to be doing during 'proper morning' today. Just been downstairs and got the freesheet newspaper - and a copy of the A Price News, which may help with my T vs A shopping!:rotfl: Not much in there though - all the items far too much than I'd PP back to - more expensive than 10% cheaper than a competitor's offer from previous week or on a different pack size/variety etc. - so represents price increases for me. 400g Milk Tray box - £3 each anyone???

Also - aau1 - congratulations for all the hard work both in passing your exams and on here.:)

As I'll never get to the Coke, I may as well do it now:

M have the following Coca Colas (no particular order) :

    8 x330ml:
    Regular
    Diet
    Cherry
    Diet Cherry
    Zero
    Diet Citrus Zest
    Diet Caffeine Free
£3.98 BOGOF Until 10/2. Bear in mind APG does not appear to recognise BOGOFs - safer if two different ones are bought but even that may, for example, give N/A on one of them and compare at £3.98 on the other.
APG has been confirmed as recognising BOGOF when 2x Diet Caffeine Free is bought, but I have no idea whether this is best price per 100g to compare to and/or whether other Cokes (on multibuy in A and bettering a price offer in M) work out better if there is a m'buy special on the APG Sada side or if so which ones.

    2L bottle:
    Regular
    Zero
    Cherry
    Diet Cherry
    Diet Citrus Zest
    Sugar Free
    Diet Caffeine Free
    £1.98 each, any 2 for £2.50

    1.5L bottle:
    Regular
    Diet
    Zero
    £1.50

    8 x250ml:
    Diet
    Regular
    £3.99

    500ml bottle:
    Diet
    Zero
    Regular
    Cherry
    £1.19 each or any 2 for £2.00

    24 x 330ml Regular £9.49

    12 x 330ml:
    Regular
    Diet
    Diet Caffeine Free
    £4.00 until 10/2

    4 pack (four 500ml bottles)
    Regular
    Diet
    Zero
    £3.98 each

    4 x 2L bottles
    Regular
    Zero
    Diet
    £6.49 each

Hope this helps someone. If anyone who's seen my post saying I would post mid-morning asks later, when I'm not on here, where the details are, please point them back to overnight. Thanks and goodnight goodnight from me now, for definite.:rotfl::rotfl::D

We tried it last year and were under awe'd so gave it a miss this time, now the M&S deal although more expensive is much nicer but nearly the same price as the local takeaway.
