I got 4 packs of the breaded, would have preferred battered, fancy a swap ?

    :D

I think the cost of petrol may cancel out the bargain price but nice idea!:D;)

Where did you find them btw please? P£ntwyn had none at all today and C0ryton only the battered, for such a big store the stock levels are appalling there...:(

    Hello Julie,

We will start charging a 5p levy for carrier bags in NI from 08/04/13, which will then increase to 10p in 2013/14.

This is due to legislation being introduced in NI, all proceeds will be paid to the NI assembly. From 08/04/13 we will remove the Green point incentive to get customers to use their own bags as we did in Wales when we introduced the charge there.

We have taken the decision that we will not proactively charge for carrier bags unless this is driven by government legislation.

Charging in Scotland is likely to be next although no firm plans have been proposed by the Scottish assembly.

    Kind regards
    Jamie - Customer Care

I think that's a great idea. Haven't they done that in the RoI for a while? or am I thinking of somewhere else?

    My own little play.

    10 Mullers bla bla :D

    1 x Domestos 24 Hour Thick Bleach Original Blue (750ml) £1.25 £1.12

    1 x Birds Eye Crispy Chicken Dippers (24 per pack - 44 £2.00 £3.25 ( messed that up).

    1 x Coors Light (10x440ml) £11.30 £9.99

Due to the ASDA Price Guarantee, you're entitled to a voucher of £6.07 :D

Evening everyone:). Very quickly on here tonight at the moment as I've got my own shopping to prepare - got a near-£10 brand match expiring tomorrow (not usual of me to leave them for this long) so got to use it and, of course, there's a way of doing it (my shopping) and "it has to be done in a certain way". So, off for some additional careful shopping. I've spent more time on my M list this week, so the other lists are lagging behind and I'm off to work them all out.

I'll also catch up with the cereal goings-on. Eventually I may get round to updating the Sada prices on my vs M list - not too crucial, but probably good timing, as some price changes at A seem to be made for Saturday mornings and to catch the weekend shoppers. Retailers (not necessarily A) also reputedly put up petrol prices just before the weekend, as a lot more people (at work all week) buy their fuel then.

Regarding the items mentioned on the post I'm replying to, it isn't the 24 pack but is 2 x 12 pack. £2.00 for a 24 pack (once it is on offer, obviously not at the moment) isn't the absolute best per unit, as that is the 42 packs when they're down to £3.00 at a competitor (they aren't last time I checked - now falling behind, nearly a week ago). It's the 12s on offer at M during the rest of this week.

The Domestos is the 2L (thick bleach original blue) £3.00 A vs T (£1.50). Not sure about the Coors Light at the mo. - the vs M may be the best.

    I'll see you later. Bye-ee!!:D
