If the sign above says half price, as it did in my local you should get them for £19 not £20:)

in this case sada owes me £3! £1 for overcharge and £2 GC:)

Just had a look. Most are either n/a or the same price :( But the Choco squares are £1.58 at As and £1.39 at Sainsbos, so a box of the numbers and 2 squares would get a small return

So, is this how it would work...?

Get three boxes as above in Asda, pay £3, but non offer price is £1.58 + 1.58 + 1.58 = £4.74
    APG only picks up 2 x 1.58 = £3.16, which it compares to Sainsburys @ 2 x 1.39 = £2.78, so gives an APG of 3.16-2.78= £0.38.
Which means we get three boxes of cereal for £3-0.38 = £2.62.

Please correct if I've gone wrong (I'm sure someone will :D)

I was threatened with that many a time, and my mother often threatened to bang our heads together, never did though.

I am starting to feel very old reading this thread, my grandmother had a front room. Only problem was the front door opened onto it so she had an old runner she used to have over the "good carpet" for letting people in the door. Whenever the vicar came to tea, or somesuch other, the runner was taken up, the sheets taken off the chairs, and the silver tea service came out :rotfl::rotfl: She liked to think she was being posh!

was your grandmother Hyacinth Bucket? :D

    Afternoon all

Have managed a little rest and a catch up this afternoon thanks to some lovely friends :A

Had a delivery of my own special 'meals on wheels' yesterday :D
Seems like many of my colleagues have put their heads together because they wanted to help out and know I've been struggling a bit with being so tired and looking after the boys. 4 of them had each cooked a meal to go in the freezer (thank goodness I've been using up my freezer stash a bit over the past few weeks :rotfl:) so I've been able to relax during afternoon nap time without worrying about cooking an evening meal.

To top it all, I posted a general thank you message on FB only for several more to reply that their contributions will be delivered next week! Will save me so much time and energy :) Don't think i'll be needing to do a 'big shop' either :D

Glad your managing a rest, and what lovely friends you have.
