    Afternoon lovlies.......

Quick visit as usual, clothes to dry, but not by putting on the horse :rotfl: ..... nope, down to the launderette for me.
Bought sweet sour chicken, curry chicken special fried rice and egg fried rice, look yummy and mine had a banner up x

I was even helpful, a lady was going to buy just oner sweet/sour chicken, I pointed out that there was a meal deal on and helped her work out what was in the deal so instead of just buying one for £3.35 she got 2 and 2 rice sides for £5 she was pleased!

Most of the ones I looked at are freezable as well, so a plus x

Qrb..... please can you tell me if it's the Harfd Brdg store you were in.... i'm prob there tonight for whoopsie time, and if they got signs up it will save me taking a list of the meal deal items..... Thanks. :D

    Hi and welcome

I call it this, always have done, OH thinks it sooo funny, as the bloomin bulb is the same size in a lamp, he says.

I still call it the 'big light' even though it consists of 8 downlighters these days :D

Anyone short of cash at the moment (everyone) check your jewellery boxes for broken gold.
I had been walking round with 3 bits in my bag for weeks, thinking they were worth next to nothing but popped into a jewellers yesterday, just to see if they were worth anything. Two turned out to be 18ct weighed 10.52 gms - worth £250 and one was 9ct weighed 13.15gms worth £110. Total £360, but they advised me it could be worth a little more if I shop around. Nearly fell through the floor.
Have done some checking and there seems to be a company offering more per gm, would amount to £420, but have to ring to make an appointment. So will give them a try first.

OMG then I would most likely have walked past you! There was a lady telling people going past that they had taken the fruit out back.

A "Close encounter of the Elite kind" then:rotfl:

I may have been there or gone for a wander as for some odd reason they did it in two batches last night. The lady you may have been referring to is a very nice regular who comes, ususally on a Wednesday, to pick up veg/fruit and any gluten free stuff. Some is for herself (Coeliac vegetarian)but the majority is for those in need and for the monks at the Budhist centre in Darlo so we try and make sure she gets her fair share.

Them tv detector people are bunch of money grabbing ********. When I was in halls they would come round least twice a year to check if every student had licence. We had six rooms per flat with shared kitchen, rooms had en suite and lockable door. There was loads flats in one building and loads of buildings too. They would go door to door if they could get in the flat via intercom. I was okay I dodged them, never answered the door n the lady who I worked for at accomadaion services tipped me off. I only had tv in last year as was too busy anyway, tbh I never watched it when had it was always up to something. I would use catch up tv on computer now most unis have free broadband.....
