Golpana Grzeski Wafers - on T multibuy any 3 for £1.00 - are a Tvs A filler or Tvs S filler item, as at least two of the 3 versions of this product are avail. in M and don't carry the m'buy in M. (Or - I haven't forgotten - wait till after 26/2 to see if a possible DTD in T.)
(Also similar with Jutrzenka Family Wafers 180g - cheaper in T than M - so Tvs A or Tvs S fillers - should be NA A, NA S. I could only find the Coconut and the Cream versions in my M, but don't want to risk others being found avail. in M by T elsewhere.)0 -

Cleaning products especially for shower and toilet as inspections are strict.
Couple of tupperwares for food storage in fridge as others tend to take up space with mouldy milk and students not good at covering foodup.
I would say these are must haves, then collection of any glitchy wul, showergel, deoderants.
My daughter was in halls at Leicester and they supplied nothing.
Of course you may have things he can take with him at home already.
Argos had some great value quilt covers last week for around £3.
Tip for boys try to keep linen and towels the same dark colour as seperating washing into colours is alien and if dark doesn't show dirt as much lol
I know there are many here with uni kids that will have useful tips too.
Can opener and spatulas very good and he will probably need set of cutlery.
Getting a head start on supplies is a very good idea but the things he doesn't lose will be useful in years to come.
From reading on here next time t's do a £5 phone be useful as if like nikilalas son will need several replacements:rotfl:
Big congratulations to your son.
If he can get his reading list as early as possible you might be able to pick up secondhand books around may/june time.
Finally he will be needing his own clubcard of course.

One of the most expensive things is he will need own tv licence
My eldest got in through clearing so we only had 4 weeks to organise things. There were no rooms left in halls by that stage so uni had a list of approved rental houses so she was in a shared house when she first went up. She now lives and Yorks in the same city and so iIn all through the years she has had 9 changes of address and doing it again this year
She went up with a car full of kit which mostly vanished and each year she had to be re kitted out again“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Halls - when I was at uni I got a job in halls accomadaion, worked in the bar too, on clearing and drove the mini bus. Had lots fun. Anyhow I enjoyed tidying the halls when students had gone for half term as they left loads stuff for me to stash for the coming term. It was amazing how much meat they threw out of the freezers, we hired a skip to take it away. Coppers we collected and given to charity. I had the pound coins.
The things I collected most were toilet rolls, pens, note pads, tins especially beans, pasta. Shower gel, deodorant and bleach, polish, towels.
The bonuses were the overseas students went home and left the room as it was lived in. I gained a proper expensive rice cooker and foreign note worth £40. HthSIMPLES!0 -
