Has anyone braved a Muller shop today? I'm really tempted to go and try it, to see if Wednesdays do cause a problem with comparisons.

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!
  • Are those the huge ones ?

    Yes

I ate one on Friday night!

Just back from Mr T's with Mum and picked DD up from hospital on way home.....
All went well at hosp thanks to those that have mentioned it. It's a go for friday for his heart procedure, then hopefully not too long a wait for the herniers. He such a stubborn ol git and always wanting to do things himself, and we are worried about him doing too much whilst still in so much pain.

Mum brought a book at Mr T's..... £4.50 sticker on front, went through till at £5...... Of course I went to CS for my double the difference, but was handed 50p!!!!! I mentioned the double difference policy and was told 'Oh, we don't do that on this kind of thing'. Hmmmmm, I thought it was 'store' policy, not 'item specific' policy..... Would anyone else feel an 0800 phone call coming on???? On the principle of the thing of course. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

On way from there to hospital on the by-pass I just managed to avoid the worst of, but hit the edge of, a major pot hole about 1/3 of the way onto the left hand lane..... So there is potential for it to be hit at 70 mph. I was doing about 60, and it put the car into a bit of a wobble and spooked me a bit, so I also have a fix my street report coming on too....

    Busy busy....... :(

Called into work yesterday for Meeting with the Interim Company taking over
We all have jobs on certain conditions - they want us to work 6 hour shifts with no breaks :( So lunch hours are covered.
We have been working all day with a lunch hour & 2 tea breaks so this didn't go well.
But if we want our jobs ...
We never had contracts with original jobs but we have to produce one to get taken on :(
So very very fed up :o:o

If you wear make up, take any kind of medicine, use shampoo, use body lotions etc you can pretty much guarantee that somewhere along the way animal testing went on with that product (or something that it contains).
I have been veggie for 30 years (no meat, fish, make up, leather goods etc) but it is hard to be completely animal friendly in modern society.

It is annoying when a trusted brand like BS get taken over by a known animal tester. If it bothers you enough then you have to stop buying their products unfortunately.

I guess it was something I never really thought about. I spent money in TBS yesterday on a day out with my sister & DD so went to the FB page to 'like' them when I came across the comments. I'm just shocked, when did L'oreal take them over? That was kept quiet! I'm not judgemental, each to their own but thought as this thread is full of animal lovers that they deserved to know. The jury's still out for me, I feel they're a bit hypocritical now as they know what L'oreal do; that in itself was also kept quiet or I was in the minority perhaps? Maybe people already knew about L'oreal? It's a difficult subject and I don't really know what to make of it :(

    Xmas Saver!
helo did ya find out about the huggies and are they and if so which ones pls

Hi, no haven't managed to get to A's yet to test it out - although most of the other multibuys at that time (except for the mullers) were going in Sada's favour so I wouldn't hold out much hope. They were the 2 boxes for £14 (original price £11.99 each), comparing at Waitys 2 for £19. HTH.
