    Happy Birthday Fourp:bdaycake:

Afternoon everyone:)Dropped Alfie at the vet and he wasnt happy:(Mind you neither was I, I get so flipping emotional when I leave him:o They will phone this afternoon to say when I can pick him up:)So hopefully he'll be minus a tooth or two and spleenless when I get him later, and on the road to recovery:T
Thought I'd keep busy to stop myself thinking about him too much but didnt intend keeping busy in the way I have been! Opened a message from DS this morning to say he's spilt a drink over his 4 week old Macbook that was a Xmas pressie:eek::eek:and Apple want £1200 to fix it and the insurance we took out on it doesnt cover accidental damage! After lots of sorting out have managed to get it on his Uni insurance but the excess is £175:(So for once I'm being firm and hes paying the excess. He's learnt his lesson with keys, mobiles and bankcards so I knew this would happen! Kids don't you love them;)
Might nip out later and pick up my A's order of new boots:oGirl can never have too many;)And tweets I've got some nice pink & blue"wanna be wag" wellies from Barratts sale that have arrived that would be just perfect for your snow;)
Oh and went to A's last night and forgot to take my APGS:eek:
Hope everyones ok and big hugs to everyone who needs one:)

I've just had an email from Nivea regarding a new moisturiser, free bottles. Needless to say they all went immediately, I only replied 2 mins later

so I found the contact page on their website and sent them an annoyed email saying that at the very least they should have offered free sample or coupons to the millions of disappointed people who will click on the link.

That made me wonder about the thread we used to have on MSE - can't think where it was now. it was a thread whereby. People suggested good company's to write and email with praise and suggestions and queries in the hope of getting some MOCs in the post.
mind you that was in the good old days when quainty and variety of MOCs was all important but I think we are all still very keen to fill out MOC folders.

is this thread still around or did it die, not sure where it was situated.

I know the thread you mean and just had good search but cant find it. Think it was in discount codes board or possibly freebies and was called something like what have you received success by letter. HTH x

I'm all caught up for a change but my cold is getting on top of me a bit so I think it is time for a nice warm bowl of chicken soup - meant to be the best medicine so worth a try :)

Hope everyone is having a good afternoon. We have very strange weather here today one minute it's blue skies and sunshine then it's snow  then straight back to sunshine again!

tazoo hope you DS is feeling better
tiny hope your OK and your mum is too

Quick question i have lots of smallish APG vouchers that I don't feel I can use all at once and don't want to do loads of small shops to use them. I noticed some people mentioning putting them on a gift card. Is this right and do I just go to CS.

Off to get my new boots from A tonight (thanks to Nikkilala):)

I've got 3 small ones and I am using these on a muller shop so it will be about 1/3 APG and 2/3 real money but as you are converting your APG into something a bit more substantial its not too bad :D

    Logie - best wishes:A

    Fourp - happy birthday:beer:

Snowing really heavily here at the moment - more like a blizzard, but was already very wet so has not stuck yet, but will if it carries on much longer.
