Tinyshoes I feel for you girl-I have been through this and it is a traumatic time. The key thing is to keep her as comfortable as possible no matter what it takes. Thinking of you and your mum. XX

Aww, sorry to hear this, we will be thinking of you, while you are going through this hard time with her, take care.
Tinyshoes so sorry to hear this news x

Thanks everyone, I dragged Mr Tinyshoes down there with me tonight, didn't want to go on my own. That's the trouble having no siblings, no one to share it with. So thank you for letting me share it with you all. :)

Mr Tinyshoes is a bit insensitive at this sort of thing as he has seen so many older people pass away in his previous job as an advocate and has had to support lots of their partners, sons and daughters. He was very good at this job but when it comes to me he is not sure how to go about it. :(

    Evening everyone,

Just popping in for a spot of catching up.

Things not looking too good for my mum, now has UTI and chest infection. Not sure if she will be strong enough to fight both of these at the same time. Antibiotics started. They are stopping one of the new meds, can't remember the name but was to help her sleep at night but she is so sleepy now anyway, it is maybe one med too many. Think reality is she may not come out of the hospice although it is still early days for the methadone.

Thanks for everyones kind thoughts. :)

Sending my thoughts and prayers to all those that need them too, not completely caught up but especially to Floflo for her MIL and Nikki for Alfie. :A

Our thoughts are with you x

catching up so probably answered but, if the gammon is priced at £9.99 a kg but SEL is £4.99 you will pay the price on the gammon thus being o/c and due DTD, alternatively if there is an additional prom sticker saying £4.99 but the product label says £9.99 a Kg then again you'll of been o/c but I have never seen this scenario, any product like this sold by £ per Kg, the price is in the barcode .hth

I have had loads of people try to explain but unfortunately I just can't seem to get it lol instead I may of portrayed myself to be rude by typing about demanding DTD which is far from who I am. Also someone mentioned pointing at the poster in CS all 3 stores I use does not have this if it was not for u lovelies I would not know DTD existed.

The only way I understand it is if the SEL say £8.00 and u go to the till and get charged £10.00 with the meat at half price per kilo etc I'm lost.

But a huge thanks to all who tried to help me but think I might stick to the deals I understand :o

Just seen on HUKD and checked it works with just the shave gels (no blades) but online only it seems...

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/tesco-clubcards-deal-1600-points-for-24-spend-1460915

    Thanks Squillion on hukd!

    Link to deal

Never done Click and Collect but could you do that to save delivery?

Lol been spammed on HUKD but seems to work on T.com?

apparently this doesnt work on just the gel - it was tried out by people on another site and when the delivery arrived no points.

    Be careful

Sorry to hear about your mum Tinyshoes. I'm sure she's in the best possible place and they are doing all they can for her.
I get where your husbands coming from. I find it far easier consolling or hugging friends and neighbours than I do my own family. we've never been "kissers" but it doesn't mean we don't care. I never tell my mum and she never tells me I love you, but we both know we do!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Hi NCNP, with the gammon what you want is the SEL price to say £4.99 per kg but on the label on the gammon it will either say £4.99 per kg or £9.99 per kg. I was never lucky enough to find one but you want to pick up the one with the £9.99 per kg on because you know it will be overcharged and as long as it says £4.99 per kg on the SEL you are entitled to DTD.

That should be right too because the way I read it is you would need to get one lot of blades and one gel to get the 250 pts, as usual Mr T makes it very ambiguous...:D
