thanks izzy, but Istanbul is on hold for a least a few months after my OP. I don't know whether I am getting a general or a local, but I think it will be the former. I wish i was brave enough to go for a local:o I have a pre OP appt a few days before the OP so I will know more about it then.

My Mum had a local for her cataract & cornea grafts  it didnt seem to bother her

Omg, spent all day doing name change malachy. What a nightmare! Worth it though. Vegas was amazing, hotel was way past amazing. Luxury does not even begin to describe it. Driving down the steip was a nightmare but i did it without incident, spent rest of day going round in circles getting lost! Food was rediculous. I miss dennys pancakes! Our special day was spectacular and exactly what we wanted. It was freezing though, -7 on one day! Warmed up as week went on thought but good excuse to buy loads of clothes for a fraction of cost here. Helicopter over canyon and dam was breath taking. Evening meal at the top of the world restaurant at stratosphere was delicious and a mega dining experience. Only thing troubling about vegas is the amount of homeless people. Very sad affair. All in all Vegas rocks. So much better than i was expecting. All caught up on here for now. Catch ya laters!

Congratulations - and welcome home :)

The whole trip sounds amazing and so glad you had a fab time and all went well with the wedding. One day I will get to Vegas. I'm more of a NY girl but Vegas is definitely on my Bucket List.

Ah, so it's not a money-off coupon as such, in the conventional sense, but you get the money back (which amounts to the same thing in my book).

This is what I was saying. So we buy the item/items on our receipt, scan them via the app, and then also make an APG claim on the receipt. The 750g pack is acceptable, especially as that is the very one shown (it might even be just the 750g one and not another size). You'd be very lucky if you manage to get the right item on a womble, and to have hit a rare jackpot if you find not only this but also the Rice Krispies squares on it too. IMO.

I've been using the shopitize app and it works well apart from the issue with photographing the receipts but I have never had any issue with their help desk who always sort it out in a day or two.
The crunchy nut worked great but it has to be the 750g size, also used the pringles, jaffa cakes, coke and special k as I was buying them anyway so may as well get them for free. Also managed to get a APC on one receipt, bonus. Watch out for th eexpry dates though as the date on the receipt must show you bought it before the offer ends. Should be some new offers in the next few days as most ended yesterday

Never thought of using a womble so will keep a look out now but as you say rare chance you get a hit

Ds woke up this morning with a bad leg, saying he can't put it down to walk on it, so off I sent him to school, thinking he just playing up, it was ok when he went to bed. Well doorbell went and neighbour has brought him back, apparently hanging on a lampost crying, as he was hobbling up the road. Just off now to docs to see what is wrong with, I feel awful now for sending him, thinking he was just having me on.:(
Don't worry honey we've all done it. My Mum sent my sister in to school for three weeks complaining of a sore arm. Mum thought she was just trying to get out of pe. Turned out she had a green line fracture and because it had been left so long needed an operation. Sister is still milking it 20 years on:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Hope your DS is ok.

Doh! I'll go put them in the airing cupboard to dry out a little then :o

Thank you for your prompt reply :)

You can also get points added at T Express....it helps if you are becoming too much of a regular face at your local CS. I also carry my OH's card and add 2 to his too if I've had a good womble run.

Oh and hi everyone, I've been keeping up (mostly) but not posting. Got 10 days left until due date and still no kitchen...not even a sink or washing machine now! Best hope this one isn't 8 days early like my 1st was! Xx

    Good Morning,

Anyone who's local A+DA is Po+tr+ack, if your going there today, pop into Dunelm M+ll as they have all the Christmas items reduced.

I paid £1 for 3 christmas tins, £1 for the card making kit (RRP £14.99), 10p for the christmas cake cases, and lots more.

They are still marked at the higher price but scan between 10p and £1.
Thanks Helen. I was in there yesterday looking for cheap "posh" bin liners but didn't take too much notice of the christmas stuff as I thought it was still a bit overpriced:(.
