good luck COT. x I have a date for my eye OP. It's on 8th march. Not looking forward to it as I is a coward. LOL I promised DD I would take her to Istanbul for her b'day on 11th!

Think I would check about flying so soon after an op, pressure and all that in flight, but good luck an eye op is one I really would not want:o are you getting a general or local .

thanks izzy, but Istanbul is on hold for a least a few months after my OP. I don't know whether I am getting a general or a local, but I think it will be the former. I wish i was brave enough to go for a local:o I have a pre OP appt a few days before the OP so I will know more about it then.

Morning everyone - caught up with you all.
Hugs to all that need them and in particular;-

Tinyshoes - hope they continue to fine tune your Mum's meds - thinking of you...

Sarahdol - hope your young un Ok - hope its a simple sprain - lots of little bones in foot - easily missed.

Tweets - hope today goes well

nikkilala - keeping my fingers crossed for Alfie's test results

Wool27 - congratulations - seems like yesterday you were telling us about the proposal! So happy for you both and great to see the honeymoon was all you could wish for!

Well - yes 3 dogs photos a major distraction as I'd thought - managed 2 of the collapsable boxes and finding niece's images on CDs - so off to Boots later and hopefully Asda (I have 2 SH apgs to use up before 30th). I did also fit in a drive to see dentist - 15 miles away. I am now at 2002 photowise - when eldest (DS) born. But found another box (ha ha these will be negatives or copy straight from print as no CDs for these) still to sort through. So another 11 years to go:eek:
Lovely looking back tho - kids loved looking at them when they came home. So will be sorting out for us too next week. Found piccies of hubby at school in Canada we'd never seen so much hilarity all around :rotfl:. Anyhow off to do Snap's quiz (redeemed myself yesterday after miserable showing on Sunday- I seem to have lost the ability to speed read in the last 10 years - you lot are real speedy gonzalas).

Then once more to the breech - photos, cuppa and crumpets :D

Thanks I think thats a step too far for me, although my Grandad used to pick up roadkill on his way to and from work, that was until the rabbits got Myxomatosis. Although I do try to hit pheasants as they walk across the road, I do like them.

I will settle for DTD on the dinner front though.
