Hiya Purdy, if I do Sbucks regularly, I get £5 eAmazon a month but if, as normal now, I just do daily poll and searches as I need them, it takes about 3months :o

It's terrible when doggies get anal gland problems, as our Bonnie used to do. I have never tried myself but have seen the YouTube tutorials  good luck hun

Poor Purdy had the Vet try to do it when she first had problems and all that came out was blood
She squealed in pain and it was awful trying to hold her still.
This was when they said it could be cancer.
She knew what was coming second time and there was no way we could settle her.......poor thing was beside herself :(

They've given her antibiotics each time and it's cleared up, but there's definitely a problem there for it to keep happening every few months. I don't want her to have to be sedated as she's getting on a bit, so I decided I'll give it a go and see if I can manage squeezing from the outside.

I'm sure that it will be fine once I've sussed where 8 oclock and 4 oclock is on a dog's bum!!:rotfl::rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I am not for one moment suggesting this of locarr, but you do wonder if sometimes the person placing offers on here and other forums is working directly or indirectly for some of the retailers/providers. They know once it gets some discussion going it is likely to go in Martin's newsletter and on HDUK will get heat and then sell more. Social media/web can be cheap marketing on some occassions.

Oh the memories. A rescue mutt we had years ago had issues with his glands. We never could go the whole hog and DIY it but grabbing the tail to hold the butt up and a very large wad of baby wipes was a decent enough temporary fix. No amount of money could make us do it when a vet is trained & has a stronger stomach for it. One thing we were told was to change from wet food to believe it or not, the cheap meal called Chappie. Something to do with fibre content or something????

Results are in. Asda not playing ball again.:(:(

That is a week and a half now so it looks like this one may have run it's course?

And as for how A compares against M..:mad::mad:

I'm not an expert like Savvy so thought I'd just check M's website and buy things that compare nicely. Wrong!! Lost out on corned beef + 48p, tuna chunks said £1 in both and compared at (and was charged) £1.78, frylight spray said £1.50 on M website and compared v £2.28.

New years resolution.. Have an in depth conversation with Savvy in future before having anything to do with Morrisons!!!

I'm almost at the end now, in my list of posts from today to reply to.
Regarding this, first it's MSM that wouldn't be playing ball; A have nothing to do with the APG price comps. and don't have any control over the results (if we take this at face value).

Av M. This is one reason why I don't go off M's website, although the main reasons are that sometimes the weights of products are not stated on the M website so you can't tell which to get, secondly the information on there isn't in any shape or form comprehensive so there could be better offers that I would miss if I went from the website, thirdly the prices for the APG aren't taken from the website but taken in-store, so that's where I get them from (and on the same day that the collectors for A's agent do).

My thought on your experience is that you didn't do the "delayed entry of your receipt" approach. It seems what's happened is that you checked M's website today (Monday), bought today and then checked your receipt Mon morning/early afternoon. The price collectors for A would be checking in-store today (they check Monday and Wednes)... but the APG website won't be updated immediately and therefore the prices are those from yesterday/last week when none of the offers you saw today on M's website were running.

If I were you, this would be one where I'd definitely go to HQ CS (or email via the contact us on Sada's grocery website) - you'd take screenshots of the products on offer on M's website and offer to send them to A - clearly, we can assume, the products are on at M for the prices you found on M's website and you weren't to know the pricing data wouldn't be updated yet. Leave the details with HQ and I suspect they'll sort it out - and possibly even give you a giftcard for £25 into the bargain.

Once a receipt is entered into the APG site, the prices the site returns are fixed - meaning that, even if you enter the receipt again tomorrow or afterwards, the same price comp. result will be given again - so, unless I am completely wrong about this - the only way to sort it out - and get what you were entitled to under the APG promise - is to go via HQ.

Regarding the timing of entering the receipt, this is the same reason why, on the recent Walkers Classic glitch vs M, I entered my receipt almost as soon as I could. This was even though I wasn't going to print the voucher off straight away, nor did I need to. I went straight to the site about 3 hours after my shop, entered the bar code in, and thus set the result in stone, then, when I had a printer available more easily the following day, I went and entered the bar code into the site again ... and good, still got the glitched result on the Crisps.

Hope this helps - and hope it helps others too.
