Tesco Hi Julie,
I'm sorry to hear this. Sadly, we have been informed that not all Tesco stores accept these vouchers. The store would have been told by Head Office whether they are accepting these Coupons or not.
I'm glad to hear though that the staff instore offered you to accept the Voucher on your shopping.
I apologise for any upset and inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards,
Chrissie - Customer Care
I have asked for a list of stores that do.

Nipped into As this afternoon for a couple of essentials so decided to use SS to pay. Asked for £50 cashback and waited until the machine spat all the notes out before I went for the receipt. I subconsciously counted the number of notes I heard being chucked out but only recalled hearing 4. The queue was building so I walked off and started putting the cash into my purse. I never normally check but today I did and turns out I had only heard 4 notes come out. I walked back to the till to check the notes slot and a young girl saw me coming and handed me the missing £10.
It was then as I walked away I realised the girl hadn't reached into the slot for the money, nor did she seem surprised to see me. The biggest giveaway was the fact the note was folded in half. I waited patiently outside the store with a couple of pound coins in hand. When the girl & her mates came out I walked over for a chat.
Me - "are you the girls who found my £10?"
Girl - "yeah but we gave it back to you"
Me - "I was going to give you a wee thank you for that" whilst showing I had coins in my hand
The girl looked really sheepish and said it was OK she didn't want the coins. I told her very nicely that she wasn't getting it anyway. I explained that if she'd come straight after me (I'd only gotten about 10 feet away) I would have insisted she take the £2 and be rewarded for her honesty but as she'd simply taken the money and made no effort to be honest she had lost out. I told her to remember this as that money could have been someones last £10 to feed their kids with and she'd just stolen it.
If I'd been long gone or the money had been found in an empty car park then my loss for not being more careful but to steal within eye sight of someone is wrong.
Moral of the story for everyone, double check the cashback from SS tills as that last £10 came out separately.
I've been known to [STRIKE]run[/STRIKE] walk quickly up the street after someone who has left money in a cash point.
I always think how i would feel if it was me who left it there...There comes a time in every woman's life when the only thing that helps is a glass of champagne ... Bette Davis0
