  • I have just come home from Tescos in the Lizzy rd in belfast and they refused the £5 off £25 coupon - say that they had an email during the week telling them not to take it. I will be questioning this on facebook!!!:(

Patty, I have just seen this. I too was nearly refused on Saturday evening (Daniel was working but his queue was too long).

Trouty McTrout supervisor said we don't take this cos we have now introduced Price Promise! Young girl on another till shouted over "We do take them, you put them in as non/scan". Trout said I'll put it through this time. I said "well, we'll see what customer services have to say about that!"

Wow - first time ever! Totally flabbergasted as had to guess a few, but some of the Chemistry revision I'd done last week with DD1 came in handy for one of the questions.

Don't stand a chance usually as you're all much too quick! :)

M&S wine offer, up to 50% off and and an extra 15% off when you buy 2 or more cases, couldn't find anything cheap enough for me but may be of use to someone.

The 15% wyb 2 cases is still on and from today there is a new code for 20% off that stacks. Not checked if there are any good offers but ususally for M & S the 20% will be off the base price.

Thanks to jennycog on the discounts board for the code

Thanks for that feedback JEL - I put something on tesco facebook page last night but I think I did it incorrectly....I can't get my head around facebook pages/walls and so on:D

Anyway I am going to go back to Mark at lizzy rd to cross examine him. As it happens I got the £27 shop down to £6 ish with apgs and pps.

My husband asked "so what are you whinging about?"
I retorted "I wanted the shopping for £1 rather than £6.......

    Now you will understand that:D

  • Patty, just had this reply from Facebook

    Tesco Hi Julie,

I'm sorry to hear this. Sadly, we have been informed that not all Tesco stores accept these vouchers. The store would have been told by Head Office whether they are accepting these Coupons or not.

I'm glad to hear though that the staff instore offered you to accept the Voucher on your shopping.

I apologise for any upset and inconvenience caused.

    Kind Regards,
    Chrissie - Customer Care

I have asked for a list of stores that do.
