Quick question with regard to SS tills/ self-scan tills... does anyone ever get till spits from them? Used self-scan yesterday and it was nice to pack stuff straight in bags round the shelves but dont want to miss out on till spits!

I have a friend who works the SS tills and I have asked her this. She says the only extras to come off the SS tills are when the petrol promotions are on and £x off when you spend £xx on Tesco Direct.

If you have no luck it might be worth checking out the Express Store - they have loads in mine but there is no price on the SEL when I last looked - maybe worth a scan on the SS and if they are full price, forget your purse.:)

Then, separately and later in the week, they put all junk inside the house, blocking the back door.

So I've come home - to an empty house as they've gone out - and opened the tumble drier and, not only has the drier not be put on long enough, so that the clothes are still a bit wet and ready to start smelling:eek:, but no shirts at all!:mad:

I've moved all the junk out of the way and of course the shirts and clothes in the bin bag in the yard are soaking well through and extremely heavy, filled with water and stinking badly. There's at least two washloads. I've now put one of them, with all the shirts, on - the other can wait - and put the tumble drier back on. They turn it off when it hasn't dried the clothes - and don't start me on the ineffective dishwasher setting they always choose despite being told numerous times, and time again, that it doesn't work!!:mad: Absolutely dysfunctional!!:rotfl:

I think I will move house (a bit drastic maybe, but a solution) and apply the only rule - if you want a job doing right, do it yourself. Others simply won't accept they have a problem that needs sorting. And until they do (which they never will), it won't be solved. There's absolutely no point mentioning it to them - the 'problem' I've had in the last few minutes - as I have already sorted it out now and time to move on. They can have their dysfunctionality to themselves as far as I'm concerned (rant over folks).

OH I feel your frustration I live in a similar [STRIKE]dysfunctional[/STRIKE] lazy household wich is why I end up doing everything:(

We too have the same problem - a neighbour, whose kittens I ended up with - then got a Yorkshire Terrier. It is just left in the garden to bark & bark & bark. In the summer none of us could use our back gardens :( as she just goes out & leaves it - one night it was 1am. If she bothered to walk the dog to tire it out it wouldn't bark as it would be asleep. But No she's not walked it since the first few months - mind you her kids are feral :(
