While I'm still waiting for David. to make me smile. :p

A quick update on my mum. She was bit upset when I got there that she had been asleep all day, and said she felt really poorly. But after a cup of tea and sandwich with fruit salad and ice cream for afters she picked up a bit. :)

5 minutes later she could not remember having a cup of tea, so I said she could have another if she wanted it, she seems to think she has to wait for the trolley to come around like when she has been in hospital before. But I told her I was allowed to go and make her anything she wanted so she said she would have another, poor thing must have been so dry it did not touch the sides. And before I left she had a mug of horlicks too, kept saying how lovely it was, I did not tell her I had made it with full fat milk. ;) She always asks for it with just water at home.

Anyway to stop boring you all anymore, she was pretty settled and much happier when I left and so was I. :):):)

Good to hear and no not snoring watching the matrix :D
People get confused with medication long story and my fingers do not have the strength and dont want to bore you all but when dad was in hospital on whatever drugs he was sure clamps and stands etc where cameras watching him and german soldiers where just outside the ward waiting for me and mam to go so they could get to him.
No way could I convince him otherwise this went on and on total fear in his face etc when we told the doc oh thats a side effect of the meds hallucinations.
To start with we where told he would not see the night out at about 5 oclock ish too weak for IC by about 10 he was in there (some other poor soul had passed away) he lived another 8 years or so after that :T:T:T without the germans hunting him ;)

Plus side of being at the hospice at normal whoopsie time, I dropped into one of my local Ts a lot later on the way home and there was a little bit left they were just doing RTC 95% off. No scrum just me to pick whatever I wanted. :T

£7 pack of diced beef for 35p, chicken curries 18p, lots of deli bits and pieces most expensive 10p and even got prawn toasts for 2p. Have some pies, 2 for 10p but no idea what is them yet. ;) And was really lucky to find lots of packets of Mccoys grab packs 9p, only a "Best Before" date on those too. :D
these where down to £2.40 from £3 when I was in ours it was 5:30ish so bargain

Someones situation (you know who you are) a few weeks back reminded me of my grandad long gone now.
What it did remind me was not how much I loved him but how much I still do after all these years .
So these bodies we walk around in may die but memories/influences/happy times etc dont loved ones will always be with us one way or another.
