Buying second hand car from dealer - need inspection - anyone used DEKRA?
I urgently need to replace my car and have seen a suitable second hand one in the local car dealers. But I am not technically capable of inspecting it myself and do want someone who is to check it out for me before I go ahead. I wondered about using the DEKRA car inspection service (I am a member of the CSMA who recommend it). Has anyone used it? I am particularly concerned about clocking, would it cover that?

Best clocking inspection is the steering wheel, gear knob, seat inspection.Be happy...;)0

Even better is a full and complete service history, And an owner that kept receipts for everything.
Even some new cars have had the mileage altered.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Depending on the car the true milage can be viewded via the diagnosticport ,also any main dealer service or repair is normally held on the dealerships computer .0
