I have placed an order for a linksys router and a linksys pci card last week on ebuyer.com going through google checkout. Received an email today from ebuyer saying they cannot dispatch the router and will only be sending the pci card and will be refunding the amount of the router.

I am only interested in the linksys pci card if i have the linksys router thinking that having the same branded components it will give troublefree service.

What angers me is that at the time of placing the order the router was in stock.

Can i cancel the order now? I wanted both items and not just one.
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

  • Login to your account and see if you can still cancel, if not drop them an e-mail saying you didn't want just 1 of them and that you no longer want to keep the order. Shouldn't have any problems :)
    **no links in sigatures please**

  • return it under the sales of goods act, you wanted to buy the two items and at the time to when tho the checkout they had them in stock.

Through the Ebuyer site, in the past if this happened they used to send an e-note giving you some options.

You would have had a chance to change the order, cancel or let it go through without the item.

I am not liking this Google checkout route.

My last order arrived with the main component missing (the rest of the items were just to push the order over £30!)

I have sent a messge but after 5 days stilll heard nothing!!

Returning items through an Ebuyer account is relatively simple, I cant see how it will be done through the google account! good luck :)

i rang ebuyer telling them i wanted both items and not just one of them. he said to refuse delivery and i will then be refunded at a later date once it has been processed. was told there was no charges etc.

received a couple of emails after a few days telling me about how to return items and also my item has been returned. They will refund me in 3-5 days.

Ring them up again and record the phone call, meaning that if they try to charge you you go no I have proof that you said there will be no charges
