Help!!! Blue emulsion on brand new cream carpet!!!

Hi everyone,
Any advice on this one would be greatly appreciated. I was about to touch up the paintwork on my son's wardrobe this afternoon using one of those little tester pots you get from Focus...thing is, I didn't realise the blimmin' thing had a brush attached to the lid so when I opened it and removed the lid, bright blue emulsion went literally flying all over the brand new cream carpet. I am so upset.
Anyone know any great tips for getting it out? I've scrubbed off as much as possible and I'm going to hire a carpet cleaner first thing in the morning. Is there anything else that might get it out?

Buy some 'brushcleaner' you get it from the DIY stores, its near the white spirit.
Its mainly for getting paint out of your paintbrushes, but I have used it on clothes, cushions carpets etc.
I had an expesive cashmere jacket , and rubbed up against some paint on a shop doorway, I gave the brush cleaner a go, and it came out.
Just work it in, and it will lift out the paint.:D0 -
Once dry remove with sandpaper. It works. What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
Are you insured for accidental damage?0
