To us it does, not sure about those making the decisions though :(
Anyway i am concentrating on the incontinence.
    Thank you again :)

I would advise in general against concentrating only on your main problem, consider all descriptors that may apply.

was wondering if your esa comes to an appeal and you are paid the assessment rate or your new esa income is lower than before does this affect the amount of housing benefit you get or will you continue getting the same rate?

I put in an appeal last nov as I believe I am in the wrong group, my appeal wont be heard till at least may but my money has stayed the same and HB hasn't been affected, I think if you are appealing which group you are in you don't get put on assessment rate so nothing should be affected, if you are turned down for ESA and appeal then you will be put on the assessment rate but I still don't think HB would be affected.

Edit, I understand what you mean now, I think, if your money drops due to appealing will you get the same rate of HB or more, well I don't think you will get any more, it will stay the same, but I'm not 100% sure

I have no knowledge of HB sorry but wish you well and hope you win your appeal :)

I have good news:) I rung ESA today to as how my reconsideration was going to be told that they have moved me to the support group with a review in 24 months :j:j
Thank you everyone for listening and advising.
She said the word lapsed?? not sure what that means but all will be relieved when the letter comes.
I cried on the phone as going to a tribunal would have been too much for me.
