Bought a very nice bunch of Roses this morning. Half price plus I used my discount.

It's been a couple of weeks since I last logged on. Not much has been going on. Received my bonus last week and MrR's arrives today which means the car can definately be serviced. Hooray!!! Also I've done a few extra hours at work so next month should be a bit easier.
Just been invited to another wedding, that'll be 3 this year!! It's typical, don't go to one for ages then 3 come along at once!
Managed to put a little more on my savings card for Christmas so it's totting up nicely, and won £2.50 on the lottery plus 5 last night.
LittleR is napping, I'm sitting here on my own worrying about my mum who is having a minor op today. I know it'll be fine, it's only day surgery but it's still on my mind.

Finally decided to transfer my Tesco CC over to my MBNA card. I would have preferred to do it the other way around but Tesco wouldn't offer me a 0% transfer rate
. But £600 at 0% is better than nothing I suppose.
£100 went into the holiday spending fund today. Only 2 months until we go. Fortunately I get my "extra" payday just before we go so we will have that available to use as well.
1st week of March has been quite expensive so far. Paying the last bit of the holiday, electric bill, bike tax and insurance, and getting the car serviced . The only thing left that needs to be done is booking the ferry which I will do on payday.
Garage told us that the brake discs and pads are starting to wear so will need to be sorted in the near future. Given the choice I would have done it now, especially as MrR had his bonus. But no, I was told it could wait. Of course if he spends money on the car he has less to spend on his daily "friend".
I'm starting to feel a little resentful now....
Just trying to decide what to do this weekend has I don't have to go to work. Hopefully I will get a lie-in at least one day

It all seemed to be going so well. We're managing on our lower income, I'm able to save a bit for Christmas, we were even considering moving to a bigger place. And then the letter arrived.
MrR is "At Risk" of redundancy
We should know for definate in a few weeks if it is gonna happen. And if it does it will change everything. The chances of him finding a job that pays as well as the one he has is slim. It will be tough enough to find any job! We would need to consider me working full time and he stays at home with LittleR.
I'd have to accept that moving house won't happen, and plans for another baby would have to be scrapped. We always said that if we didn't have another child before MrR reached a certain age then we wouldn't do it. Time isn't on our side. I'm feeling pretty down about it all at the moment.
