Could an Admin. please go into the control panel and into word replace section and make it so that whenever someone writes the word "yoof" it is automatically replaced with "youth".
I don't get it... is it meant to be clever for some reason? It just makes the poster look like a bit of a !!!! really.
See, I write a swear word and that's replaced with four exclamation marks, now please change "yoof" to "youth".

vBulletin doesn't have "word relacement" like that. At least not unless you install a 3rd party hack/mod.
I think you are thinking of the word censor, that simply replaces any word in the list with a specified character. In this case the "!". It does that with ALL word in the list. You can't specify to replace some strings with others. Just the "!" in ALL cases.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Just look at it as a useful way of sorting out people who you consider to be !!!!s. Or make your own website, then you can run it how you want. Or learn not to let trivial things bother you, which is much the easiest way.0
